LoTSA 2.0 Reminder
This is a kind reminder that the Panama Canal Authority (ACP) will soon launch LoTSA 2.0, the enhanced Long-Term Slot Allocation program designed to deliver greater certainty, flexibility, and value for our customers.
As announced, sealed bids for the first LoTSA 2.0 cycle, covering transit dates from January 4, 2026 to July 4, 2026 must be submitted on October 28, 2025, between 8:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. (Panama time).
We kindly encourage all customers to advise us of their bidding intentions in a timely manner, so we can assist with coordination and ensure their participation is properly managed. Please note that, as stated in the Terms and Conditions Point 4, once a bid is submitted, it cannot be modified under any conditions..
LoTSA 2.0 introduces important enhancements, including shorter 6-month cycles, reduced daily slot volumes (3 per day), and new segmented service packages Fix, Flex, and Flex+ to better align with each customer’s operational requirements.
