PANAMA FLASH! – Update on Immigration Custody For Restricted Nationalities (For on and off signers) and custody tariffs.
Further to our Panama flash dated August 9th, the Panama National immigration Service notified that the immigration custody will also apply for will for off signers disembarking vessels in Panama as of August 12th, 2022
List of restricted nationality that require an immigration custody below:
1. INDIA
2. CHINA
3. MYANMAR
4. INDONESIA
5. BANGLADESH
6. VENEZUELA
7. PAKISTÁN
8. NEPAL
9. CUBA
10. SIRIA
Following the custody tariff for restricted Nationality.
| Custody Fee | USD 9.35 Per hour | USD 225.00 – Daily |
| Transfer from airport to Balboa side hotels or vessels | USD 25.00 | |
| Transfer from hotel to vessel | USD 25.00 | |
| Transfers from airport to Cristobal side hotel or vessel | USD 50.00 |
One immigration officer can custody/escort up to 5 crew.
