Panama Carnival Holidays
February 24th & 25th Monday & Tuesday Carnival
During these national holidays, all the government institutions will be closed including Customs, Quarantine, Health, and Immigrations. Banks will be closed and most private sector companies are also closed or with limited staff.
- Incoming Crew Visas: Should be applied well in advance of public holidays.
Panama Immigration Office will be processing the seaman’s entry visas first-arrived, first-served, and closing business hours Friday 21st 1600hrs and resume operations Wednesday 26th from 1200 to 1600hrs.
- Spare parts & Courier packages: Customs clearance must be scheduled in advance of public holidays to be ready for delivery after vessel arrival.
- Bank wire transfers: Please send remittances and wire transfers in advance of public holidays.
Panama Canal Authority and surrounding terminals / port operations will continue working normally 24/7 during the holidays without interruption.
Norton Lilly Operations Teams attending Panama Canal Transit and Port Operations will continue as normal during the holiday without interruption.
