Panama National Holidays (April) – Government Institutions Schedules

During national holiday in Panama all the Government Institutions will be closed including Customs, Quarantine, Health, and Immigrations. Most private sector companies as well as Banking Institutions will be closed during above periods.

Panama Canal Transit Operations, Terminals & Ports, Bunker Barges and husbandry services will continue operating 24/7 without any interruption.

Norton Lilly Operations (Panama Canal and Port Operations) will continue as normal during the holiday without interruption. Please always copy to our group email operations@nortonlilly.com.pa

Panama Crew Changes during Holiday:

Panama Tocumen Airport opened for commercial flights.

Incoming crewmembers entry visa should be applied in advance of public holidays. The Government Office including Panama Immigration Office, who is approving visa applications will be closed after 1200hrs April 14th and resuming processing all visas received the earliest April 18th 2022 (Monday).   

Spare parts and courier packages

Clearance through Panamanian Customs must be scheduled in advance of public holidays.  Please always copy to our group email spares.panama@nortonlilly.com.pa
