Change of Cargo Broker for Ship’s Spares – Effective December 1st, 2025
Please be advised that effective December 1st, 2025, all airfreight and sea freight shipments must be consigned to Macs Marine Transport instead of Air Sea Express.
We will continue to process and deliver any spare parts already dispatched to Air Sea Express prior to this notice. Should you have sent any spares to our former broker without notifying us, kindly inform us immediately so we may arrange delivery accordingly.
From today onward, all future shipments must be addressed exclusively to Macs Marine Transport.

Instructions for Spares Arriving via Airfreight
- Airport of arrival:
Tocumen International Airport (IATA Code: PTY), the main airport in Panama City, Rep. of Panama.
- Cargo description:
Declare the shipment as:
“Ship’s spares in transit for MV [vessel name]”
to avoid local import duties.
- Pre-arrival documentation:
Please send the Air Waybill (AWB) and commercial invoice at least 72 hours before ETA.
- Customs clearance:
Clearance typically requires 6–8 hours after arrival, subject to airline confirmation.
Our Panama team will track the AWB arrival and coordinate all customs and logistics steps to ensure timely and efficient delivery on board.
